Day 2 - ARRIVE - ENJOY
On the first day, after a good breakfast, we take a long walk to explore the beautiful town of Plataria. Just arrive and relax. In the afternoon, with a good coffee and a piece of cake, we will tell you interesting facts about the history and culture of northwest Greece. In the evening we go to a nearby, traditional ouzerie tavern, for a joint ouzo and then dinner.
Day 3 - OLIVE HARVEST AND PICNIC IN THE OLIVE GROVE
First of all, we fortify ourselves with breakfast, because today we go to the olive grove where we get to know the individual techniques of olive harvest. The olive farmer shows us how complex it is until the olives can be processed into fine olive oil.
At lunchtime we enjoy the well-deserved picnic in the shade of the olive trees. Then we drive to a nearby olive mill, where we can watch how the high-quality olive oil is pressed. Best cold-pressed olive oil of the best organic quality.
In the evening we take the bus to the mountain village of Perdika for a fine dinner in the top restaurant "Krabbe".

Day 4 - COOKING TOGETHER - INTRODUCTION TO IONIC CUISINE
Relaxation is the order of the day this morning. If you want, you can explore the village with the beautiful fishing port or swim in the still warm sea.
In the afternoon, around 5:00 p.m., we will meet for cooking, where we will learn the secrets of Ionian cuisine.
We will prepare a typical ionic three-course menu under expert guidance. Of course with delicious olive oil. With good wine, we then enjoy our dishes.
Day 5 - EXCURSION TO DODONI AND IOANNINA
After a good breakfast we take the bus to the ancient theater of Dodoni.
The archaeological site is one of the oldest oracles in Greece.
The Dodoni Theater is one of the largest ancient theaters in all of Greece. We enjoy Greek mythology a little.
Then it continues to the beautiful city of Ioannina. It is the capital of the Greek province of Epirus. Around Lake Pamvotis there are a lot of interesting buildings, small shopping streets and nice cafes and restaurants. After a walk through the city center and a cafe near the lake, take the bus back to Plataria. In the evening we enjoy a fine meal in the Plataria Palace.
Day 6 - GOAT'S MILK CHEESE AND WINE TASTING
First we visit a goat farm near the village of Paramithia, where we can watch and try the preparation of the typical feta cheese. With a glass of Retsina, we enjoy the freshly prepared cheese together with fresh bread.
In the late afternoon we meet for a small wine tasting, where very good Greek wines can be tasted with a little meze (little things about the wine). Afterwards there is a delicious dinner in the Plataria Palace.
Day 7 - HIKING AND BARBECUE
Today it is in the mountainous landscape around Plataria. On our hike we enjoy the spectacular views over the light blue shimmering sea.
During the hike, our hiking guide will teach us the secrets of herbalism. It will explain the benefits and effects of the different herbs that we find on our hiking trail.
After the hike, we prepare for a romantic barbecue evening, which we will organize near the sea. (Weather permitting). We spoil our palates with fresh seafood, meat and vegetables.
